A New Jersey man was sentenced to prison after a 1978 murder of  five teens. The man recently admitted that he was involved in the murder of one the longest running cases in New Jersey.

The man is required to serve 20 percent of his 10 year sentence before he can reach parole, according to sentencing guidelines that were in place in 1978.

The man was arrested in March 2010 and has been jailed since, which  means that he is up for parole in a few months. The 54-year-old man told police that he was involved in the crime three years ago. He claimed that he and his cousin got the five teens into a house and set fire to it. It was said to be a drug related attack.
