N.J. allegedly hires mistress to murder wife

Authorities announced Friday that a New Jersey man is accused of hiring his mistress to kill his wife. The incident occurred as the family was walking with their son in their neighborhood and the woman was shot and killed.
The 27-year-old woman was killed while her and her husband walked their 3-year-old son to a relatives house. The 26-year-old husband was not injured in the event, he told police that they were attacked by terrorists.
The husband’s 26-year-old mistress and him exchanged text messages in the days leading to the event that lead to their arrest. They have been charged with murder, conspiracy, and weapons charges. The man also faces child endangerment charges.
